New Build Courtyard Garden

This small end terrace new build in North Wales provided a tricky challenge – maximising the usable space whilst embracing the client’s love of nature and the environment.

The more traditionally planted beds with butterfly and bee attracting species were located along garden boundaries, with a bespoke timber pergola creating a shaded seating area at the end of the garden, covered by vines and jasmine.

The use of a wildflower meadow turf as opposed to a standard lawn turf provides a refuge and food source for bees, butterflies and insects as well as creating a visual spectacle in spring and summer!
